Eligibility criteria for admission to the MPBIM, MBA Degree Programme:
- CMAT – 50% and MAT Score should be more than 500 (however while selecting, the descending order of the CMAT/MAT Scores shall be considered).
- Degree Percentage be preferably 60% and above.
- Should possess good communication skills in English.
- Work experience more than one year shall be an added advantage.
- First come first served basis.
Application Forms can be downloaded from the website www.mpbim.com or can be collected from the office of MPBIM by paying an amount of Rs. 1000/-. The payment be either through DD or cash respectively. The DD is to be prepared favouring “M P BIRLA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT” payable at Bangalore. Photocopies of all available Marks sheets commencing from Matriculation to Degree along with the CMAT & MAT Score Cards should be sent along with the completed Application Form.
Further requirements for the MBA Programme 2018-20 (20th Batch) being conducted from August 2017 as under:
Applicants should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4/5) in English Medium from a UGC recognized institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category). Students appearing in their Final Year Degree Exams are eligible to apply for admission. However, eligibility will be considered subject to students securing an overall aggregate of 50% and above in the Undergraduate Degree.
The applicant should have appeared in any one of the tests like CMAT / MAT / CAT. Priority of admission to MPBIM shall be based on descending order of the ranking of the above tests in respect of eligible applicants. There is also a Govt. Quota entry stream for admission to MPBIM which is primarily for the students hailing from any Institution / College affiliated to Universities of Karnataka & located within Karnataka State which is presently based on PGCET ranking.
Admission for MBA 2018-20 Batch commences based on results of above tests commencing from Sept 2017 onwards.
