The two-year full time MBA Degree programme of MPBIM is affiliated to Bangalore University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It has been designed to develop Managers for the future. This Programme provides MBA Degree to Student Executives a platform to imbibe procedural, theoretical and applied aspects of Management.

Eligibility

Eligibility criteria for admission to the MPBIM, MBA Degree Programme:

• MAT Score be more than 500 (however while selecting, the descending order of the MAT Score shall be considered).
• Degree Percentage be preferably 60% and above
• Possess good communication skills in English
• Work experience more than one year shall be an added advantage.
• First come first served basis.

Application Forms can be downloaded from the website www.mpbim.com or can be collected from the office of MPBIM by paying an amount of Rs. 1000/- payment be either through DD or cash respectively. The DD is to be prepared favouring “M P BIRLA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT” payable at Bangalore. Photocopies of all available Marks sheets commencing from Matriculation to Degree along with the MAT Score Card should be sent along with the completed Application Form.

Further requirements for the MBA Programme 2012-14 (14th Batch) being conducted from August 2012 are as under:

Applicants should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4/5)) in the English Medium from a UGC recognized institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks ((45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category). Students appearing for their Final Year Degree Exams are eligible to apply for admission. However, eligibility will be considered subject to students securing an overall aggregate of 50% and above in the Undergraduate Degree.

The applicant should have appeared in the All India MAT Examination or CMAT being conducted by AICTE. Priority of admission to MPBIM shall be based on descending order of the ranking of the MAT scores of eligible applicants. There is also a PGCET entry stream for admission to MPBIM which is primarily for the students hailing from any Institution / College affiliated to Universities of Karnataka & located in Karnataka State.

Admission for MBA 2012-2014 Batch commences based on results of Sept MAT 2011 results onwards.
