Prof. Vijayalakshmi S is an Assistant Professor at M. P. Birla Institute of Management with over 17 years of experience in academia and industry. Offering a balanced blend of industry exposure and academic expertise. Her teaching and research interests span Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, and the Business Environment, with a strong emphasis on bridging theory and practice. She has published several research articles in the areas of HR and Organisational Behaviour and Business Analytics in reputed journals and has presented research papers at numerous national and international conferences. She is a Certified Trainer and Facilitator accredited by the Carlton Advanced Management Institute and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Mysore. As a research mentor, she has guided internship and research projects, including projects under the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) for Management and Leadership initiative funded by the IKS Division, Ministry of Education, Government of India. A firm believer in lifelong learning, she is passionate about creating an engaging learning environment that encourages critical thinking, innovation, and multidisciplinary perspectives.
